Designed in 1973 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia. 
Tobia Scarpa was born in Venice in 1935, where he graduated in architecture. With his wife Afra Bianchin (1937-2011) he set up one of the most successful and well-known professional studio’s. They designed for Cassina, B& B Italia , Maxalto, Molteni and many other brands.

Condition: 
Completely steam cleaned. 
The original velvet  checkered upholstery shows some color fading caused by sunlight. On 1 element the fabric became a bit thinner on the seat (see image). No tears or other damage.
