Erik Deforce (alias Ric Def, Kortrijk 1937 - Brugge 2012) was a Belgian designer, interior designer and artist based in Flanders. He was a passionate adept of Italian and Scandinavian sixties Modernist design. 
The modernist chairs are part of the Jeans Rondo Collection produced by Hi-Plan, Ingelmunster, Belgium, in the early seventies.
The black plywood chairs are restored and reupholstered in a bold, Belgian velours tapisserie.
