Jean Batenburg (1906-1990) was a Belgian artist and interior/furniture designer. In the sixties, he and his wife founded furniture business E.M.Y., later MI. The company stopped early 70s. 
This table was originally set up with one of the famous pyramid sideboards.
The Carrara marble top, warm wood and metal accents make it an exceptional piece of art.
